Last year's worthy winner was Michael Doran, ICBF Chairman from Wexford.
He followed the Teagasc Moorepark blueprint to optimise nitrogen applications, taking advantage of clover’s natural fixing to cut down on chemical use and costs.
Michael’s dedication to enhancing farm income while protecting the environment is evident in his commitment to sustainable practices, particularly through his use of clover in his swards.
