The award celebrates dairy farmers whose grassland management is delivering sustainable farm benefits without compromising performance.  

Brian O’Reilly was named as last year’s winner, continuing the award’s recognition of farmers who are delivering strong forage returns through practical, sustainable management. 

Another past winner Niall Moloney received the award for integrating white and red clover into his grazing system, significantly reducing artificial nitrogen use while maintaining high-quality forage production.
