Squarosse clover
Squarosse clover is an annual variety that can withstand temperatures of -10°C at its rosette stage.
It grows upright with a thin taproot and many branches. Sown successfully, Squarosse clover seed can produce a lot of organic matter and is good for soil structure.
- Sowing rate: 10-15 kg/ha
- Sowing time: Sow from mid-July up until September (not GLAS approved)
- Frost tolerance: Squarrose clover is very winter hardy
- Biomass: High biomass potential
- Pests & diseases: Generally not a problem
