Germinal is once again proud to sponsor the Responsible Grassland Manager category at the 2024 National Dairy Awards which will take place on Thursday 13th June at the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise.
By spotlighting excellence in sustainable grassland management, we aim to identify outstanding farmers who are driving forward dairy production with innovative and sustainable grassland management practices that can be shared with other farmers for the good of the industry.
In 2023, we heard from winner Niall Moloney that white clover, red clover silage and sustainable technologies can be fundamental to climate smart production. Clovers are also integral for 2023 finalist Diarmaid Fitzgerald after helping reduce artificial nitrogen applications by nearly half.

Naturally, we want to hear the success stories of farmers who are maximising dairy production sustainably from grassland.
